One of my aspirations is to teach in the mountains of North Carolina. I feel that in the rural mountains it is easy to get close to the students and the community. I want to be the teacher that goes to students' softball games, baseball games, dance recitals, and art shows on weekends.

I do not really have a preference in what grade I teach. I would like to eventually teach across the grades until I find one that fits my teaching style the best.

I either want to get my Master's in education or I would like to get National Board Certified. I also want to attend many professional development seminars. I always enjoy learning about ways that I can improve my teaching.
