I have many professional goals in mind for my career as a teacher. My central idea is to stay current with education research and principles. I am always open to new ideas and am willing to try most anything that I think could work in my classroom. I plan on taking advantage of as many workshops, classes, and conferences as possible during my tenure as a teacher as well. I plan on becoming a National Board Certified teacher as soon as I feel that I am ready. I would also like to earn my Masters in administration by taking night, weekend, and/or summer classes as I teach. Although I do not necessarily plan on becoming a principal or assistant principal, I think that a Masters in administration would create a lot more options for me in the future. Basically, I plan on taking advantage of every opportunity I can to become the best teacher I can possibly be.
