Communication takes multiple forms, both verbal and non-verbal; it is this outcome that best illustrates this concept.  In my program, I have learned that the best communication is not always didactic; sometimes it is most powerful through a non-verbal cue, such as a gesture to garner silence in the classroom to manage misbehavior.  Of particular note to me has been coming to know and master the notion of modeling.  It seems that no matter how thorough the instruction, communicating the work required through example is the best way to communicate the lesson one wishes their students to achieve.
