Dear Parent/Guardian(s):

As many of you may know, Dryden Elementary is going to be undergoing some new and exciting changes!  Construction for our new addition is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 6.  Due to this, we will have to make a few minor changes with parent drop-off and pick-up.  The following changes are tentative and are subject to change on a daily basis:

  • No vehicles will be allowed in the parking lot. (This will not change; vehicles will not be allowed for the duration of the construction)
  • If you are just dropping your child off in the mornings, we ask that you stop at the crossing guard's building and let your child out.  The crossing guard and a teacher will be there to assist your child.
  • If you do need to park and come in the building, for any reason, we ask that you park across the road at the primary building.  PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE TEACHERS' VEHICLES.

As always, your child's safety is our primary concern so we will be having extra people on bus duty to help guide everyone where they need to go safely.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this transition.
