For over 30 years, the Department of Educational Professions has surveyed our recent graduates to learn more about how the College of Education has prepared you for the first few years of your teaching career. These past graduates have provided valuable feedback and insights that have been used to improve and strengthen our initial certification programs. We hope that you will be willing to join this esteemed group by completing the following survey about your preparation and experiences during your completion of the Masters of Arts in Teaching – Elementary (MAT-E) program.
This survey is anonymous and your responses will be confidential. The survey asks you to provide some general demographic data and share an overall evaluation of the program you completed. You will then be asked to rate the quality of your preparation for those knowledge, skills and dispositions necessary for effective teaching. An evaluation of the quality of your various field experiences, mentors and supervisors will also be requested. Finally, the survey will require you to rate your overall experiences in courses and field experiences that comprise the MAT-E program at Frostburg State University. Each section on the survey includes a comment area and we encourage you to take a few minutes to share your personal thoughts and reflection on our programs.
The survey should take roughly 15 minutes to complete.
