Chapter 4 - Incorporating Color Techniques

In Chapter 4 you will: (Objectives)

 

  •     Work with color to transform an image
  •      Use the Color Picker and the Swatches palette
  •      Place a border around an image
  •      Blend colors using the Gradient Tool
  •      Add color to a grayscale image
  •      Use filters, opacity, and blending modes
  •      Match colors

 

Assignments:

  1. Completely read through Incorporating Color Techniques Chapter 4  and complete the practice images "Rooster and Rooster Colorized".
  2. Complete the following assignments:
    • Firetruck Colorized- Skill Review (Minor Grade) 
    • Furniture Wizard - Project Builder 1 (Major Grade)
    • Preschool - Project Builder 2 (Major Grade)
    • Chocolate - Design Project (Major Grade)
    • Rubberband - Group Project (to do done individually) (Major Grade)
  3. Save all assignments on the T-Drive under a folder labeled Chapter 4 Photoshop.
  4. Assignments will be graded by Dec 10/11, two class periods to complete assignments, followed by an assessment on Chapter 3 & 4.
