Chapter 2 - Working with Layers

Chapter Objectives

·         Examine and convert layers

·         Add and delete layers

·         Add a selection from one image to another

·         Organize layers with layer sets and colors

Assignments:

 

  1. Complete reading from the Adobe Revealed text pages 2-1 to 2-27
  2. View the Chapter 2 PowerPoint (see Attachments, below)
  3. Complete the practices for each lesson.  Not all lessons will have an image to edit or save.  Some lessons provide information needed to set up layers or a workspace.
    • Fall in New England (Practice)
  4. Complete the following images for a major grade.  Instructions are located in Chapter 2
    • Music Store (skilled review)
    • Outlaw Fraud (project builder 1)
    • 4H Billboard (project builder 2)
    • Coffee Cover (design project)
    • Organic Market (Group Project) this project will be an individual project instead of a group project
