In Chapter 3 you will: (Objectives)

1. make a selection using shapes
2. modify a marquee
3. Select using color and modify a selection
4. Add a vignette effect to a selection

All while creating the images listed under the assignments.

Assignments:

1. Read the text carefully and pay close attention to the quick tips.  These tips will save you time and give you pointers on applying the techniques of selection and selecting.  View the Chapter 3 PowerPoint found in the desk top under visual aids.  
2. Following instructions to perform the desire effects for the image - Sewing Box - (Minor Grade)
3. Complete the following assignments:
   • All Cats  - Skills Review (Minor Grade)
   • Portrait - Project Builder 1 (Major Grade)
   • Marathon Contest - Project Builder 2 (Major Grade)
   • Sample Composting - Design Project (Major Grade)
   • Total Sportz - Group Project (to do done individually) (Major Grade)
4. Save all assignments to the T-Drive in your folder by the name stated in the instructions.
