Lesson 2 -- Digital Imaging

Objective:

  • become familiar with terms related to image file types
  • understand the difference between painting and drawing programs
  • understand the difference among file types
  • identify advantages and disadvantages of file types

The following assignments will assist the student to reach the objectives with a goal of reaching 80% accuracy on each assignment. 

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Using the BIMM Text - Multimedia and Image Management - Read Chapter 2 Image File Types (pg. 13-20)
  2. Read and take notes from the attached Digital Graphics--Digital Imaging power point presentation.  Upon completion follow the instructions given at the end to complete the assignment (Technology Research Project)
  3. Complete the Technology Research Project
  4. Complete Lesson 2 Review
  5. Complete Lesson 2 Quiz

Duration:  3 class periods.  Due dates varied - Blue Days Oct 8th/Gold Days Oct 9th
