As for some courses, I’ve found the most interesting were Genetics & Molecular Biology Lab, Cell Biology Lab, Ecology/ Evolution Lab, Music Theory and History, Music Tech Labs and Musicianship Skills. I also found some which seem difficult were Gen Ed Analytical Reasoning, Gen Ed Core Communication Writing Competency. These seems difficult because my weakest point of skills is writing and math. I also don’t enjoy doing them because of how I am not as strong in those fields of work. These are some of the skills I must develop further to push myself to my full potential. I need to read a little more to work on my spelling and my grammar usage. As for my math, I should find a way to be more interested in studying and learning math in general. I usually pass all my math classes but never found the joy of continuing to learn it. Based upon ASPIRE Module 3.1, I was grouped as a Giver(NF), saying that the best learning style for me is that the materials must stimulate my imagination. I am a very creative person, this styles of learning suit great because it fit in the careers for music, imagination is needed to help to create new and original pieces of music. For life sciences, imagination is also needed to assist with coming up with new ideas to solve problems and to develop effective ways to work, so that it can be done efficiently. I can see that as my success goes, I think I’m going to get by, not failing or overly achieving. I am at a 3.5 GPA at this point, to succeed I should keeping it in between 3.0-4.0. To sum up, I need to face my weakness, to challenge my skills so that I will work harder to build up my skills to it maximum potential to benefit me soon.
