My name is Gep Traynor, student of IUPUI and that my mission I to commit, create and imagine so that I can improve and show my full self-worth, through spirituality, music and art. What led me to this is that I have been a very creative as a kid, back in my home town Phetchabun, Thailand. This is where I got my interest of playing drums, I would get so inspired by watching bands play and I would just stare at the drummer wishing one day I can do the same. During my free time as a kid I would gather pots and pans at my house set them like a drum set at a place where I think it look like a stage and started banging away, my cousins would also dance and sing along as I played. Sometimes I make toys to play for myself. Once, I made a crutch walker out of wood, where I can stand on the peg it has and walked around on it, makes me look like one of those tall, long legged guys at the circus. At this present time, I think the song that best fits my mission would probably be Moby Dick by Led Zeppelin. This song has multiple factors that relates to me which are, the creativity of song, how it involves a drum solo and how the song is put together, this relates well to my interest in playing drums and music. The main theme of the song involves a whale which somewhat relate to my interests in animal science. An object that symbolizes my life purpose could be a drum set I think that it’s a great symbol that uses creativity and spirituality. I can see myself in the future using my musical skills to teach and inspire others in the future.

       Based on the MBTI, my personality type letters are ENFP. These groups of people are giver, which means they strive to motivate and inspire other, solving new and complex problems, performing, and create. My mission statement relates to my personality type on which how I want to motivate and inspire others. To use all y ability to show others of how well they can push them elf to overcome own fears. One of the strength of givers, is pushing towards empowering people, meaning that they like to pass on their learnings and beliefs to motivate others to think differently to positively impact their lives. Empowerment can also lead to developing leadership skills. Also, givers are good at solving complex problems, I think the creativity that I push to develop further can enhance that ability to come up with creative new ideas of solving more complex issues. I think that my mission on my spirituality values can be use as well to ties in both of how it supports my way of thinking and how I communicate with others. My peak experience is probably high school because I just felt so accomplished to graduate and how the reactions of my family made me feel. I came from Thailand in 2006 and that I never knew how far I can go as having English as my second language, so I think my overall values help me become very successful though out my early years of learning. I think that If I keep pushing towards my mission to success, I can accomplish great things later as I keep on being myself and to later use it to motivate maybe other kids who has come from the same background as I have.

       Some of my top values are, creativity because I love thinking of ideas and being creative. Second, is working in teams, I enjoy creating things with other because I think greater ideas comes other of doing so. Third, is impacting society, I think that it is important to make a difference in any way or form and that my interest in music, art, and animal science can potentially impact society in a positive way. The fourth would be knowledge and learning because it is very valuable when trying to achieve your highest potential. The last, I think adventure is also important to me in that I love to travel and I enjoy trying new things to get more experience. Relating to my mission statement, my values of creativity is the top of my inspiration to keep on thinking of creative ideas and keep on being myself to express my full potential. Also, working on teams is great me to keep on making music and art with others to just make the world a brighter place. As well as, my adventure values are tied to my spirituality of how I feel about getting out of my shell and go do and experience the most that I can to form myself to be as worthy of how far I can go. My passion is to involve myself with music and that this will make me a lot happier with my life, I aspire to use it to inspire others to become wo they are, also to express them self the way they like. I think my role models are those people who are successful with their lives, doing exactly what they love and that never to give it up because that’s what is valuable to them, it just inspires me to be the best that I can to achieve greater things.

       To sum up my major and career choices, I would say that I am interested in fields involving music, art and some form of animal science. I have interests in music technology in the music majors, career that I would see it work for me would be a drum technician, teacher or performer. The art majors I see an interest in are computer graphic design, if I do go for this, I can work to be a graphic designer for companies who design logos or some designing images. As for the animal science part, I would like to major in zoology and try to get in to animal rehabilitator as my career or a zoo keeper. Some personal life goals I have are in my community and volunteer work, with the community I hope to continue to support the communities of my interest of the drumming, fishing and art communities, as well as contribute by passing my enthusiasm to inspire others. Volunteer work I aspire to do more of this and try to join more of them especially helping the drumming community, I need to try volunteering at some animal care places like at an Animal Shelters or Sanctuaries. For my family aspirations, I value my family of origin and that I just highly want to try hard and be successful, so that I can make them proud of who I ‘ve become. This relates to my spirituality part of my self and that I am trying to create a greatest self-worth so that I can become the best that I can be.

       To sum up, my mission ma change from time to time as I grow, but it will stay similarly to of that is created because it has made me who I am now. As for my personal statement, I have developed stating, my name is Gep Traynor, and I am a first-year student at IUPUI exploring major/minors in music, art, and animal science. I am passionate about being creative with my musical and art skills and experiencing new things to enhance my growth. Careers that interests me are music performance or teaching, creative uses in art, and animal care, would allow me to become happier to fully express myself to others. I am inspired by those who are happy and successful form working hard and achieving their goals. I am easily energized by music, sports, games, art, animals and nature. I also enjoy friends, drumming, drawing, video games and fishing during my free times. What matters most to me would be, striving for what I believe in and that hope to outcome a happy and successful life, also to inspire others and make an effect on them to do the same.
