Group "Information Sessions" will be held in two ways:
  • On-site information sessions held at various locations in the SouthCoast area:
  • Via "conference call" technology (using either your personal telephone and/or the Internet)

Interested candidates are highly encouraged to attend one of these group sessions with Program Director Tyra Lopes Mendes in order to learn more about the program.

If you are unable to attend an "on-site" information session, please plan to attend a technology-facilitated Information Session.  We will be utilizing a web conferencing site (FREE for you) at InterCall.  You can ask the presenter questions via your telephone OR you can easily type in your questions for the presenter via a "chat box":
  • Dates to be announced - please check back for updates!

Directions to join a group information session via a telephone line only:

(1)  Dial the following toll-free number:   (866) 495-4188

(2)  When asked for your meeting's "conference code," enter 4020556698, followed by the #.

(3)  You will be asked to announce yourself by stating your name, followed by the #.

You will now be able to hear the entire meeting and ask the leader questions, etc...  If you wish to be able to see the leader's PowerPoint presentation, etc...  you will need to join the meeting using your personal computer or a "smart phone" with a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari (see instructions below).

---> click the Dial In Now option and follow the instructions on the screen

You will now be able to see and hear the entire meeting and ask the leader questions, etc...

Individual meetings can also be arranged by contacting Tyra Lopes Mendes (tlopes@umassd.edu) if you prefer to meet face-to-face.  Feel free to request a meeting with Tyra either at the UMass Dartmouth satellite campus in Fairhaven or your school site.  Thank you!
