Introduction

CIMG2215.JPG          Hi! My name is Elizabeth Valencia and I am a teacher. Wow! Just saying it feels great. Thank you for taking the time to venture into my portfolio. I hope you will find it helpful as to any information you may need. I have recently graduated from the California State University of Los Angeles and am ready to dive into a teaching position. I have worked with great teachers as a teacher's assistant and have also worked as a tutor for Youth Policy Institute (YPI). Being a student at CSULA has allowed me to expand my knowledge of teaching through the various strategies that I may incorporate into my student's learning. I have attended schools in Los Angeles all my life and look forward to contributing back to the communities by providing the students with a professional and positive educational experience. In this portfolio you will come across various lesson plans that I have designed in various subject matters as well as assessments. You will also see any additional information regarding teacher credentialing requirements.
