My Science thematic unit is on Mountain, Oceans, and Deserts. Each day was planned out to further the student’s knowledge and allow for new information. I have also included my field trip action plan that involves the students to not only enjoy a field trip but to also gain as much knowledge from it by tieing it in to the curriculum. My soccer drill lesson included, is particularly a favorite of mine because being that I was never a fan of Physical Education in my elementary years, I was able to plan for this activity and it went great. The kids enjoyed it and I enjoyed teaching it. My Instruction Strategy Plan ( ISP) unit is on Homes. The children are to compare and contrast the similarities and differences of everyday life and places around the world. The purpose of this unit is to expose the children to the different homes around the world, which is good because it naturally adds geography; a subject often left out of the curriculum
