These two lessons demonstrate that I am able to meet the needs of English Language Learners. I have specifically designed these two lesson plans to instruct in different modalities so that all students may benefit and learn from the lesson. When planning a lesson, I ty to make it both fun and beneficial for the students. Students need to feel comfortable in their learning enviroments and feel free to express themselves without the hesitancy due to language. "We are all here to learn," is an expression that is common in my sayings to the students. I try to provide an environment and lessons that allow for the students to participate and I try to clarify as much as possible so that students are not left with more questions than answers. I like to have students also explain their understanding of a lesson or to teach a lesson, as students sometimes learn best from each other. I am learning from them just as much as they are learning from me and it is important that I allow for students to also teach me about themselves and how they understand and interpret a lesson. I have also included a paper on Autism so that it may show my understanding on the subject matter.
