Leading Yourself into a More Plant-Based Diet - 2/23, 6:00-7:00 PM
Becoming a healthier person is something that I have wanted to for an extensive amount of time, following my self improvement mentally, I figured it was time to take a look at nutrition. I love meat and have no intentions of being a vegetarian, but due to the carbon footprint that meat has on the world, and the effects it has on your body, this SLI taught me the correct information. I have taken action of “meatless Monday” and working on sometimes substituting vegan and vegetarian option into my daily diet. I loved how this wasn’t an altering session, it was purely informational and I learned so much about my daily diet, in regards to meat. I am so happy that I attended this and I have followed though with the goals I enacted that day.
