Where do you draw the line? (10/4)
Examining various controversial decisions is important, especially when you neither have to go through with your decision nor handle the repercussions. Being able to talk though the decisions that individuals made allowed you to realize that you are not alone with your reasoning to make an unethical decision. From lying to a police officer, to calling into work when you’re not really sick, and downloading music illegally, these are all real-world examples of how making an unethical or ethical decision is your decision, no one else’s. The blaming element was not a factor, which made people think and truly take accountability for their actions. The under lying factor that I thought was important was success in return for something unethical, especially in the work place. Although success is important in college, in the work place the desire to succeed can outweigh your own morals, but it is important to evaluate and keep them always at the back of your mind.
