I got my ideas  for this story from books I have read and information from maps.  I have always liked the idea that people on an island and facing the challenges of the island, creatures and other people. My favorite book of people being stuck on an island is Lord of The Flies. I like how the author showed the children as more afraid of each other than the creatures of the island. The creatures in my story I kind of made like the ones in the Time Machine. And the creatures eating humans I thought of myself.

I wrote Bobby skunk and the store is I used a writing prompt from Ms. V that use in a writing packet she gave us.  The prompt was a newspaper clipping that said a skunk got into a store and got his head stuck in a jar.  The employee was able to get the skunk out of the jar without it spraying him.  my story just had the prompt part at the very end instead of the front. I thought it be good to tell what the skunk did in the store before he got stuck in the jar.  This is how I wrote Bobby Sunk and the Store.
