I first decided I wanted to write this story when we were learning about slaves. I thought about what it would be like if I were a slave and had managed to escape. I used information from many other storys I had read, like throwing pots, that was from a book callled Single Shard. I best write when I just begin, I do not brainstorm or pre write I just start writing. After I have finished i go through and make changes or add new things.
