Course Description
After taking the class, you will take a second look at your hands. The promotion of hand hygiene is stressed throughout the entire class in effort to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment. Within the workshop, it presents historical insight about hand hygiene, preventing the spread of most childhood illnesses. In addition, current statistical information about poor hand hygiene and its affect regarding the health and welfare of children, employees, and the general public. Participants will acquire relevant information from the Centers of Disease Control & Prevention, view two video presentations, participate in game activities and complete a questionnaire.
