  • Center for Life Skills - Ithaca, NY
    • Elective, 2 hours/week, January 2012 to May 2012
    • An Ithaca College course at a residential senior community in which physical therapy students, in concordance with occupational therapy, speech therapy, and therapeutic recreation students, spend a semester evaluating and treating elderly patients who have experienced a stroke or other traumatic brain injury under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Jewish Home & Hospital - New York, NY
    • Clinical Education I, 8 weeks full-time, May 2012 - July 2012
    • Evaluated and treated patients in a subacute rehab facility and long-term care unit under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
    • Worked with a healthcare team of physical, speech, and occupational therapists, physicians, dieticians, and nursing staff.
    • Communicated patient status in family meetings.
  • Ithaca College Occupational and Physical Therapy Clinic - Ithaca, NY
    • Aquatic Therapy, elective, 2 hours/week, August 2012 - October 2012
    • Clinical Grand Rounds, elective, 2 hours/week, October 2012 - December 2012
    • Ithaca College half-semester courses spent evaluating and treating a variety of patients with musculoskeletal injuries in the outpatient clinic and pool on campus under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Peak Performance Physical Therapy - Owego, NY
    • Clinical Education II, 8 weeks full-time, January 2013 - March 2013
    • Evaluated and treated patients in an outpatient orthopaedic facility under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
