The Holocaust
People in societies B: Analyze the consequences of oppression ,discrimination and conflict between cultures.
I am writing about how the Jewish community was being killed for Germany's problems.Adolf Hitler was the main cause. He created an army of people to destroy for him which they are called the Nazis. He thought creating an empire would rule the world for many years. The German people were easily believed that they were being made to suffer because the Jews had their jobs and potential life styles. The Nazi's littered the streets with propaganda suggesting horrific practices performed by the Jews. The Nazis guarded Jewish shops and factories, and every shopper was warned not to buy from the Jews.
Hitler was very eagar to gain control over Germany. He did this through dictatorship,a form of government in which absolute power is concentrated in leadership .Between 1934 to 1945 the Nazi's and him killed about 5.9 million Jews. Several attempts were being made on Hitler's life during the war but none were successful.Hitler had created the first Holocaust. The Holocaust took place during 1939 to 1945.It involved in most parts of Europe. It spreaded so far that almost any Jew would be caught if they were trying to escape. They were yellow stars upon their shirts to be identified. The Jews were overwhelmed by the Nazi's behavior.
The Holocaust is important for everyone to know because it was one of the biggest events on inhuman torture ever recorded besides slavery. This relates to the project because it showed how a huge event occured in the past and gave a fine example of discrimination and conflict between cultures.
How it works?
When a button is pressed a sensor is used to help the lights come on in a sequence. After 10 seconds the lights turn off. There are three colors that are contained within the box which are green red and yellow. The green light represent the amount of land the Nazis took over, the red light represents the people that died during the Holocaust and the yellow light indicates the people that survived after the Holocaust.
What materials are used?
1.)56 LEDS[Green,Red,Yellow]
2.)1Acrylic Sheet
3.)1 Wooden Box[24''x12'']
4.)Nails
5.)Black paint
6.)Black Foam
How does it interacts with an outside system?
When the buttons on the side of the box gets pressed the LEDS starts to light up and shows the land the Nazis took over ,the people that died during the Holocaust and the people who survived after the Holocaust.
The image in the box analyzes the consequences of oppression, discrimination and conflict between different cultures. This image is based on the conflict of different cultures and the population before and after the Jews were killed by the Nazis. The way the box work is by pushing the buttons that starts the lighting system which reveals a route where it shows the population of the Jews before and after they were killed in the Holocaust. The colors that are contained within the box are green ,red and yellow. The green light represents the amount of land the Nazis took over, the red light represents the people that died during the Holocaust and the yellow light indicates the people that survived after the Holocaust.
The Jews were blamed for many problems .They were transported in condidtions of appalling horror and brutality to Eastern Europe.Between 1934 to 1945 the Nazis killed about 5.9 million Jews. The German people believed that they were suffering because the Jews had their potential life styles. The Jews were humiliated and forced to wear yellow stars upon their shirts to be identified.Hitler demanded to send all the Jews that were caught to death camps to be killed. The Jews were devasted and overwhelmed by Hitler and the Nazi's reaction.
Many survivors feel the need to remember the Holocaust.Every event touches not only those who witnessed it but also their children. Many Holocaust survivors today feel that it is important to carry out their beliefs and family legacies.
Hear My Cry
There's a ten year old girl in aforgotten place,
She's never seen a world, so full of hate and disgrace.
She watched innocent die right before her eyes,
With no chance to say goodbye.
Now she's busy wondering how Hitler got the fame.
Hoping someone feels her pain.
She remembers the Nazi's who turned Heaven to Hell.
Remembering the death camps which the children called jail.
She never forgot the murderers, who never left them alone.
This girl's world is turned upside down.
To see the frown upon her face weakens the souls in disgrace.

The thing that is going well for me so far is that im starting to finish up on the work that I had to catch up on .
2.What is not going well?
I would have to say the team work with my partner. It's not like he don't get any work done it's just the point that we don't work together and he's a little more ahead of me .
3.What do you need to do to make sure that you meet all of your deadlines?
In order for me to meet all of my dead lines I would need to work a little faster and to make sure that I am on task at all times.
4. What is your overall impression of the project?
I think creating the box is a little unique because it's hands on .
5. If you had to rate your own progress what score would you give youself?(1-5)
To be 100% honest I would give my self a 2 because im behind on my work.
