Artifact 48 - Example of Performance Criteria or Rubric for Project or Unit

Building Trades example of performance criteria or rubric for project or unit

Work place readiness skills are evaluated on a daily basis in the Carroll County High School Building Trades program.  In order to remove the subjectivity from grading attitudes and behaviors, a grading rubric has been established.  Such categories as safety, initiative, and professionalism are addressed.  This reinforces to students that how they conduct themselves is just as important in the work place as what they produce.
