Narrative

Louisiana State University and A&M College (LSU) has qualified administrative and academic officers with the experience, competence, and capacity to lead the institution. The organizational structure of the university is provided in the LSU Organizational Chart [1]. Administrators and Academic Officers are identified in Table 1 below, and links to their professional résumés are also provided.

LSU administrators and academic officers are experienced and competent and have the capacity to lead the institution as defined by employment, promotion, and evaluation policies of the university, as evidenced in the SACSCOC Template [24]. The credentials of all administrators and academic officers are also on file with the institution.

All of LSU’s senior administrators hold terminal degrees or appropriate degrees within their respective fields of discipline. All administrators are employed following rigorous searches that adhere to the university’s hiring practices. All administrators are reviewed annually by their respective reviewing officers and are reviewed by their faculty biennially according to the guidelines articulated in PM 35 and PS 111 [25][26]. These evaluations are used to assess performance and determine merit compensation and continuation of service. The evaluation process is discussed in more detail in Comprehensive Standard 3.2.10.
