This section of my portfolio contains a science lesson that is intended for a first grade classroom.

This lesson is for a first grade class and is about sinking and floating. This is an interactive lesson that allows students to test properties of objects and make predictions. Throughout the lesson the teacher is allowing students to hypothesize and test objects. The students are using 21st century skills throughout the lesson and are collaborating with their peers. There is also a follow up center that goes with this lesson that is a reinforcement to the lesson that categorizes objects that sink or float.
