Below are two links that display the media talking about the SUNY Cortland pilot program at Groton Elementary School. One is a new article where I was interviewed for the Cortland newsletter and the next is a news clip where I was interviewed about the experience I endured at Groton. Our block was the first block to get to go into the classroom for a full two weeks. This experience was so eye opening and rewarding. I was in a first grade classroom throughout this experience and I was able to work each day with students and build a relationship. While at Groton, I was able to teach two lessons on my own and help students with their work. This experience was extremely beneficial to me.
