All educational tasks uploaded in this area are connected to ACEI Standard 3. In order to be an effective teacher, instruction must be conveyed in an appropriate way and must meet the needs of each student. Each student is different and has a variety of needs and interests. As an educator, a teacher must be able to modify and accommodate to each individual in an effective and professional way. There are several ways to instruct students and also different ways to explain information. The artifacts within this section all address different examples of instruction and ways to gives examples on how to accurately implement modifications.

Standard: 3.5 Communication to foster collaboration—Candidates use their knowledge and understanding of effective verbal, nonverbal, and media communication techniques to foster active inquiry, collaboration, and supportive interaction in the elementary classroom.
