Philosophy of Education

There are many different definitions of what education means and how children should be taught. As a future educator, I believe that children learn best having positive reinforcements, support and motivation. In order to keep students interested and working to their fullest potential, students must be actively engaged in the classroom.

As an educator, it is important to allow children to use their creativity and be able to voice their opinions. Teachers also must be aware of their students’ needs and learning styles and create their lessons around the students needs. Students need positive reinforcements to keep them motivated to do well; this will encourage them to keep up their hard work. Teachers should be proud of the accomplishments their students complete and make sure that the students are recognized for their efforts. To be an influential teacher, a teacher must make a positive difference and always be able to focus on children's strengths. For the complete version of my philosophy of education statement, see please the attached documents.
