As I approach my junior year at IUPUI, it seems tough to realize that I am halfway finished with my undergraduate studies. Although my major has not changed from biochemistry and I still plan on attaining a minor in mathematics, my experience at IUPUI truly changed the way I view the world. Not only has it helped be understand my role as a global citizen but the research at IUPUI has allowed me to get a taste of the academic setting and how the information in textbooks is acquired. In this portfolio, I document my 2015 summer CTSI research experience. In it, I hope to reveal the benefits of undergraduate research and how it has impacted my journey.
