I graduated from the University of Minnesota - Morris with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. Following graduation I spent two years in gastroenterology research at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and one year at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. I received my post-Baccalaureate degree in secondary education from the University of Arizona in 1980 and began teaching Chemistry at Canyon Del Oro High School. This will be my fourth year at Salpointe Catholic High School. During the past thirty-five years I have taught Advanced Placement Chemistry, College Preparation Chemistry, Forensics, and Astrobiology. I have also taught Analytical Chemistry and Honors Organic Chemistry at the University of Arizona and spent a year with the National Optical Astronomy Observatory writing curriculum for the Hubble Space Telescope Educational Outreach Program. I am excited that I have the opportunity to teach Advanced Placement Chemistry and Honors Chemistry at Salpointe Catholic High School and am looking forward to a another great year.
