Throughout my career at Longwood, I have been involved with many activities. The activities I am involved with had been a big part of my college career at Longwood University.
I am currently a member of the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity. With this organization, our primary goal is to serve others. We live by three cardinal principles, Leadership, Friendship, and Service. I am proud to be a part of such an organization where we thing of others before we think of ourselves.
I am also currently a member of Lambda Alpha Epsilon Criminal Justice Fraternity. It is so much fun being a part of this organization because we go on fun trips that are related to criminal justice. Recently we went on trip to the FBI where we were able to tour their building. This was really fun, and it let us meet some of these really cool people where we were able to get connections for when we graduate.
I am also a part of the National Society of Leadership and Success. This is an honor society where you are selected based on leadership. They truly only invite people who demonstrates leadership potential, and embodies this.
I am a Desk Aid here at Longwood University as well. I do many leadership tasks, for example I write the wire each week that is distributed through email to all commuter students. This is something I enjoy doing, because while I am working, I also am able to do homework. Along with that I am the secretary of the RCL Advisory Board. For this position I take notes on everything that we talk about throughout our meetings. The RCL advisory board comes up with events that are campus wide and invites the whole campus to come together and have fun.
