Welcome Prospective Students!

You are probably reading this page because you either attended one of my classes as a prospective student or met me on campus at Sneak Preview or a personal visit.  Thanks for coming!  I enjoyed having you with us and hope you enjoyed spending time with us!  If you are here, but not because you visited one of my classes, welcome nonetheless!  Read on...

We do many different things in class and class sesssions each week are seldom the same.  Each course I teach has a home page that contains all the information that you need to successfully complete the course.  For example, click here to see the home page for ED 260X Educational Psychology/Human Development and click here for ED 330 Introduction to Special Education.

Each Education candidate (you are the candidate and the children in the schools are the students) has an advisor who is a full time Education faculty member.  We advise you through all three or four years of your career here at TIU until you graduate.  Yes, our candidates graduate in four years, sometimes less!  Each of my advisees has an Advising Web Page (password protected) that contains all pertinent advising information, copies of your advising session notes, and your 8 Semester Plan.  Click here to see the Advising Web Page.

Attending a class at any college or university you are considering is a wise idea so that you have a pretty good idea what your time will be like in your courses.  Remember, what is most important is to follow God's call and leading in your life.  Seek Him daily and He will show you the path to follow.
