Sub-standard 4a: Connecting with Children and Families

My literacy home pack family letter serves as a prime example of my ability to connect with children and their families because it uses family-friendly and encouraging language in an attempt to attract those adults who may not be initially inclined to actively learn alongside their children.   My preparation of this letter involved much thought about how to best get adult caregivers actively involved with their child’s education.  The entire pack is designed with the same hope of connecting children’s learning at home with that at school.  The letter is just the first step in accomplishing this goal when the pack is opened.
