This lesson shows my understanding of developmentally appropriate teaching because it incorporates many teaching methods that have been proven to aid the learning process. One proven method was used when connectiing to prior knowledge of English language structure to write sentence summaries of the story. Another example involved using both picture cards and filling in a written graphic organizer as ways of reaching Gardner's multiple inteligences and ways of processing and learning information.
