Overview

Although EDU 200 is not intended to serve as the sole means for student advising, it does address important advising issues and concerns.  During this course, we will discuss the process for applying to the Teacher Education Program (TEP).  Specifically, we will examinie TEP admission requirements, calculate your GPA, and download your transcripts into your TEP Portfolio.  During one class session, advisors from the Office of Student Services (Room 100) will meet with you to discuss the importance of working with them as you progress through your program.  Also, during this term you will be required to schedule an individual appointment with your advisor in the Office of Student Services (Room 100) and obtain a copy of your Program Checklist.

Music, Art, and Secondary majors need to make sure you are meeting with your School of Education advisor as well.
