Overview

Why is it important for you, as a future teacher, to be able to communicate effectively in writing?  What writing style is used in education?  At several points in  your Pre-TEP sequence, you will be required to successfully pass writing evaluations to demonstrate your competency in the area of written expression.  Also, you will be required to demonstrate your proficiency in the use of the American Psychological Association (APA) writing style.  This page contains helpful information about the writing evaluations you will be expected to pass and also, provides an overview of APA writing style.
