Directions for Logging into the UAB School of Education Computers in Room 149

Step 1:  After starting the computer, wait for the prompts to appear.

Step 2:  Type in your Blazer ID.

Step 3:  Type in your Password (this is your two initials [first letter in your first name; first letter in your last name], capitalized, and last 4 digits of your student number, unless you setup the account with a lab assistant and chose a different password). 

Note:  You may need to click the Advanced button and verify the Tree is ACT65, and Context is Students.act.

 Directions for Logging into Blackboard

Step 1:  Go to www.blackboard.ed.uab.edu or http://blackboard.uab.edu

Step 2:  Your username is your Blazer ID.  Type this your username/Blazer ID when you reach the Blackboard website. 

Step 3:  Your temporary password will be  your initials (first and last names from official roster), CAPITALIZED, followed by last 4 digits of the student's Banner ID number (B00 number).  This is now considered the student ID number.

For example, student Homer Simpson, with the Blazer ID "Homer" and student ID number B00123456 would have the user name "Homer" and temporary password "HS3456".

Step 1:  Go to mail.ad.uab.edu  

Step 2:  Type in Your  Blazer ID.

Step 3:  Type in Your Password (this is your strong password you created when you created your Blazer ID)
