This is a reflection on my CQ Assessment. I did this assignment in Fall 2021 of my second year at Tiffin University.
Cultural intelligence (CQ) is a critical part of setting yourself apart in today’s globalized world of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and innovation. It’s the ability to relate and work effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds and it goes beyond existing notions of cultural sensitivity and awareness. With cultural intelligence, I know how to strategically use cultural differences to come up with more innovative solutions. Choosing CQ was very easy for me since its vital to anyone who wants to be able to make personal judgement when making critical decisions in life. I choose CQ because it was one of the assignments, I did in DEC400 class and I felt it will be very important for me to use it here as my artifact. I actually did not consult anyone while choosing this artifact since it was one of the assignments I did and I felt it was important for me to list it as one of my artifacts.

This artifact is very important to me and it actually supports my claims of growth. With CQ, I make good decision which will have positive impacts in my life. This CQ is focuses on how well individuals can relate and work across cultures. It also provides guidance on how to assess and develop cultural intelligence in your employees in order to create a higher-performing organization. I feel the artifact will be very useful in future since it makes me make clear and good decisions and relate well with people around me. When I am going to complete the artifact activity again, I will try to focus more on understanding how each artifact impacts positively to my life.
