This portfolio represents my professional growth as I re-energize my teaching career after relocating to Clark County School District in 2021. I finished a two-year stint as a Targeted Student Population Advisor with Los Angeles Unified School District in fall of 2021. My tenure with LAUSD has included teaching Math 7, Math 8, Algebra 1, and Geometry at both the middle and high school level.  My portfolio contains best practice lessons and projects, examples of authentic assessment, and evidence of how I met my professional goal of improved mathematics instruction.

My focus for the last two years has been perfecting my skills as a Targeted Success Population Advisor. In this position, I have served as the Title I Coordinator, Testing Coordinator, English Learner Designee, Technology Coordinator, and Intervention Coordinator for Los Angeles Unified School District. My goal for the next school year is to continue in a leadership role that will lead to an administrator position at the middle, high school, or college level.
