INTRODUCTION
This section contains evidence of my growth as a professional in the area of Math. My management philosophy is such that I believe all students can learn even the most difficult Math concepts in an environment that promotes creativity while meeting state standards.

REFLECTION
One of my goals for increasing my knowledge and skill in implementing instruction is to collaborate with other teachers who may be teaching the same subject of Math. Additionally, I would like to collaborate with teachers who subject matter is sometimes used in math such as Science and English as there are many aspects of math that require students to write. I believe this will help me to become a more effective teacher because first there is no teacher that is an island unto themselves and we all need one another. Secondly I believe effective teachers realize that someone has walked that road before and may have created instructions and assignments that can be incorporated easier than creating something from scratch.
My next goal for increasing my knowledge and skill is to always take professional development classes. I’ve already begun the process to continue my education by deciding to become dual-credentialed. I believe this goal will help me to become a more effective teacher by keeping my knowledge relevant and current to the changing needs of the students. Because students change with time I believe teachers can no longer think that the way they teach should stay the same. As some corporations have come to realize, oftentimes a little too late, that as the demands of the buyers change so must the corporation change to meet the needs of the buyers. Teachers therefore have to remain current and relevant in their teaching instruction in order to effectively shape the ever changing generation of learners.
