Botany 120 is a four unit class designed for non science majors to satisfy the transfer requirement of a laboratory science. The class is only offered in the Spring.

We will go on at least two field trips during the semester and you will also, along with partners in class, conduct a short research project using radishes. We will study how plant cells function, the anatomy of plants, plant physiology, evolution, genetics, along with the diversity of plants. In short, we learn the basics of biology using plants as a model.
