At the start of my experience at Texas Woman’s University I can honestly say I did not know what to expect. Over the course of my undergraduate studies I feel that my expectations in education have increased; the course work that I encountered at TWU not only strengthened my desire for an education but also for a career in Physical Therapy.
As a student at Texas Woman’s University I learned more about myself and what I desired in life. I earned more than just an academic background but the necessary life skills to promote my strengths and improve my weaknesses.
With a background in kinesiology I expect to be more prepared in areas involving exercise physiology, biomechanics, and exercise testing and prescription with the ability to communicate and apply those principles to reality and hopefully my future career.
With this portfolio I have selected various works from my undergraduate studies to represent my travels as a Kinesiology major. I have chosen the works that I feel best meet the objectives established.
I entered Texas Woman’s University with hopes of not only earning a college education but also learning the necessary objectives for obtaining a noteworthy career. Through exceptional instruction and guidance of the Kinesiology department I feel that I am more than ready to enter the professional world. Until then, I plan on furthering my education and attending graduate school to earn a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman's University.
