After an extensive essay and interview process, I was chosen to participate in Loyola's Greeks for a Good Cause (GFGC) in 2013. GFGC is alternative break immersion that collaborates with Habitat for Humanity in order to provide affordable housing for low-income families. Myself and a group of 20 service-oriented students in Greek life traveled to San Antonio, Texas, to help families in need by rehabilitating and framing a home.
