Please wait...The Educational Technology Portfolio and Capstone provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate and document the impact of the knowledge and competencies gained throughout the Educational Technology program. Your Portfolio will include 4 main sections: Individual Student Profile, Evidences (or course assignments) demonstrating achievement of the Program Outcomes, the Capstone Experience Paper, and your Original Contribution.
The Portfolio and Capstone Experience will be evaluated by a faculty committee.
Note: The Master's of Education in Educational Technology degree requires all four components be completed for you to be certified for graduation.
Evaluation expections: The Capstone is due no later than the third week of your final course. After submission of the complete Capstone and all portfolio artifacts, your portfolio (The Directed Response Folio or DRF) in TaskStream will be reviewed by a Capstone Committee of faculty members. The work will be coordinated by a Capstone Committee chair who will alert you to due dates and any special considerations for review of your work. The Portfolio review takes approximately two weeks. Then the Capstone Chair will contact you with details of degree conferral and ordering transcripts.
