My name is Tamela Nicole Chambers and this is my Common Assessment Portfolio. This portfolio was created for the Council on Teacher Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a requirement for K-12 certification as a Library Information Specialist. This portfolio represents my professional growth as a pre-service teacher-librarian and includes my personal philosophy of education, impact on student learning and samples of the work I’ve done as a graduate student, a children's librarian and during my placements in both high school and elementary settings.
