About this course:
In this course, we are learning how to complete a successful computer investigation. In the process of learning this, we are learning how to set up a forensics lab, how to use and manage forensic tools, what to look for in our investigations, and the differences between corporate/civil and criminal investigations.
Some of the things we have done in this course are: capture a disk image, obtain a digital hash of a USB drive, identify file metadata, acquire evidence and create a report, and locate an e-mail source.
