Relationships in a Classroom Setting

teacher.jpg One of the most fascinating classes I have taken so far in my teacher education has been Relationships in a Classroom Setting. During this course, I learned many different disciplinary strategies that are key to a successful classroom. One of the main focuses of the class was to promote a proactive approach to classroom management. In addition to learning about the positive effects of proactiveness, I also had the opportunity to learn about several disciplinary theorists, and had the privilege of listening to a wonderful guest speaker talk about successful classroom management strategies. Through the observations in my service learning classroom and the knowledge I gained in this class, I have become more aware of the positive side of classroom management.
