The purpose of my teaching portfolio is really one of self-reflection.  I have been teaching for 9 years and time just seems to fly by with little chance for looking back.  I am interested in documenting my teaching experience to see what I do well and in what areas I could improve.  Teaching has been and will continue to be a journey for me.  There have been bumps in the road and fabulous adventures.  All have been learning experiences and helped me to grow as an educator.  I plan to use this portfolio as a souvenir from this stop in my travels, a snap shot of where I have been and what I have learned.  This portfolio will help me look back at my previous experiences and help me to map the road for the journey ahead.
