PCC Undergraduate Transcripts transferred to UCSD

While in high school, I enjoyed jump-starting my college education by taking a couple of summer school classes at PCC the summer before my senior year (1975).

Almost 30 years later, I returned to PCC so that I could pursue my dream of teaching.I resumed my studies with a bang, earning an "A" in a lower division organic chemistry course needed to complete a UCSD undergraduate requirement. It was a great experience proving to myself that I could once again succeed and learn as a student.

In the fall of 2003, I returned to PCC to bump up my 2.43 GPA to a 2.50, in order to petition to get into CSULA's teaching credential program. Working hard, I earned an "A" in a speech class, which I could also use to fulfill the speech requirement in the credential program. Earning that "A" increased my GPA to a 2.5 - enough to petition to get into CSULA's credential program. The speech class was tremendously beneficial in preparing me to present a credible and comfortable image in front of a large group of people within a classroom, faculty room, or district office setting.
