Science Unit Plan - EDEL 418

Did you ever wonder why birds have different shaped bills or how they are affected by oil spills? I know I have. Birds are also something that I hold dear to my heart having raised doves as a child.

I enjoyed modifying several different lesson plans that I found on these issues to make them engaging and completely inquiry-based, in order to promote student self-discoveries through hands-on exploration. I developed this unit for EDEL 418 - Curriculum and Teaching/Science, and am looking forward to someday implementing it in my own classroom.
